ReplyDeleteMarianna, Thank you so much for all your pretty patterns!
ReplyDeleteThank you! So many flower patterns are too large; your pattern's the perfect size!
ReplyDeleteI just Love them. I make knitted sandals for toddlers, and these look just beautiful on them with a button.
ReplyDeleteI found a new obsession!!! Your page. Now I have to run, my cat is playing with my ball of yarn I just wound. LOL
The best flower pattern ever! Thank you for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteHi, kind of a newbie. Does this (2sts on right hand needle) indicate just slipping two stitches over?
ReplyDeleteYes, it does
DeleteHi aorry to sound dumb but what size knitting needles do i use?
ReplyDeleteThanks
Rainbow Tracey
No dumb questions here. I wondered the same thing.
ReplyDeleteI knitted one on a US3 with DK and it Came out about an inch in diameter. Very cute but would require a bead, or wee tiny button for the center. Very sweet and I'll make more this size, but it is tiny so will also try a little larger needle and see what happens with that.
I read on Ravelry you use whatever needle size you like and you get the corresponding size flower. I need tiny ones so i will be using a size 1. For bracelets im knitting for Christmas. They sure are pretty little flowers arent they?
DeleteUse size needle suggested by the yarn wrapper. I have made these using 35 stitches to begin, and worsted weight yarn. Literally made hundreds to put on an artificial tree, brought Spring inside.
DeleteBeautiful little flower. How can I make it larger but in the same yarn as the hat I want to apply it to. The hat is made out of finger weight yarn.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
Just what I was looking for! Thanks so much for sharing your pattern.
ReplyDeleteI made some lanyards to use at work and I wanted something cute to spice them up. These worked really well and it looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteIve just made the flower for the first time and added a ladybird button in middle and put it on a keyring, might make some for christmas gifts, thank you for sharing another fab pattern
ReplyDeleteI’m a very amateur knitter and did a search for a daisy. This came up. Just want to say thank you for sharing it. I used big needles and got a large flower and put a button in the centre. It looks really nice.
ReplyDeleteI've just started to knit and these are so pretty. My 2 year old grandaughter said they are beautiful granny. So you got 2 approvals here in UK.
ReplyDeleteThank you
I usually crochet flowers for decoration but I am not so good at crochet, I am going to give these a try - thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for all your lovely patterns. xx
ReplyDeleteI just used your pattern to put on the headband for a Teddy Bear. I added yellow centers with French knots. The flower looks really nice and I will use it over and over. Thankyou.
ReplyDeleteI've made many knit flowers, this was by far the easiest and fastest, thank you, it is adorable.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your beautiful daisy pattern, so easy to knit. I've made 3 for my beanie.
ReplyDelete.
Lovely and easy
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. To be used for charity.
ReplyDeleteLovely and easy to knit.will be made for charity.
ReplyDeleteVery easy, and for those who are visual, make sure you look at the picture - I'm pretty experienced but any flowers patterns were very intricate and that is not strictly necessary. Thanks a bunch for this, I've made a flower for my daughter's hat and just sewed it on in the middle (it's a multi color yarn so it doesn't need anything in the middle).
ReplyDeleteJust added flowers to a pair of toddler mittens they look great and such a simple idea!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the pattern for hats and flowers.
ReplyDeleteSearching for the pattern for the headband with small summer flowers please. I do a search & just get peoples posts.
ReplyDeleteThank you for an easy no fuss pattern
ReplyDeletelooks amazing and will be making more
What am I doing wrong both tails at same end
ReplyDeleteWhen you say cast off 5 are you knitting them as you cast off ?
Thank you. Very easy to make yet very pretty to look at.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this very clever easy and quick little flower. I enjoyed making it and happy with the result 🙏
