A Star for Elizabeth

I was playing around, making a little knitted star today, when I heard the sad news that Queen Elizabeth had died. She herself was a bright and shining star through 70 years of loyal service to our country. In happy times and sad times too, her humour, compassion and dignity shone through.

RIP Your Majesty. I would like to dedicate my Star to you.

Crochet Star Coasters

I have made a start on some cute star-shaped crochet coasters for Christmastime.

I found some sparkly silver and sparkly green yarn in my stash that is just perfect for this!

Crochet Star Coasters

I tried adding a hanging cord one to see how they would look as hanging decorations - and that looks great too.

Knitted Star Decoration

This pattern was a recent mystery knit (#5) :)

Marianna's Little Knitted Star Decoration

Knitted Star Decorations

I think this little star is a cute little decoration that can be used as an adornment to add to projects - or as a hanging decoration.
It will look especially cute in Christmas colours!

I thought you would like to see some of the results of those who knitted this 'blind' as a mystery knit - so many lovely variations. Well done to all who took part. Hope you enjoyed the fun.

If you fancy giving it a go ~ here is the pattern ~
