ReplyDeletedoes this have a side border or just top and bottom border?
ReplyDeletePLEASE NOTE **
DeleteThere was originally an error in this pattern ~
The purl rows should read
S1, k5, purl to last 6sts, k6
Sorry. I have corrected the instructions now.
Thank you, xx
DeleteCan you knit this pattern in chunky wool
DeletePamela Morris - yes :) It will be bigger - but the pattern will work really well. M
Deleteis this a reversinle stitch? thanks
ReplyDeleteIt looks good on both sides - but they are different :)
DeleteWhat size needles should we use it doesn't say a suggested size would be helpful
ReplyDelete4mm needles
DeleteI love your patterns the instructions are easy to follow & the patterns are lovely.
ReplyDeleteLove the blanket x thank you for all your lovely patterns x
ReplyDeletehow many would i need to cast on to make a cot blanket?
ReplyDeleteMarianne when you mention :Repeat from ** to ** three times more do you mean to repeat row 11 to 14 3x? Thanks
ReplyDeleteYou repeat all the rows between ** and **
DeleteThe first ** is before row 15
The second ** is after row 38
So you repeat ALL of these rows - That is rows 15 - 38.
Hope this helps . M
If making the 30'jordon blanket with 176 stitches, how many extra rows do i need to do and approx how much wool will it take, thank you
ReplyDeleteUsually I make blankets the same length as they are wide.
DeleteSo if you have 30" width - work until you have 30" in length :)
Really love the blanket
ReplyDeleteJust love this pattern. Will be a lap blanket. Is the sl1 knit-ways or purl-ways? Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteS1 knitways - happy knitting. M

ReplyDeleteHello
ReplyDeleteThis is my favourite baby blanket pattern. I have made three now in different sizes and colours.
That is lovely to hear ! :)
DeleteHiya Marianna, I'm currently making this blanket following your pattern & I'm maybe just over half way through & I'm wondering, I'm making the 24" size & I assume if I was to follow the written pattern I would end up with 24" by 15".. What rows would I need to repeat & could you tell me how many times to get to 24"?, I assume it would be the 15-38 X3 bit I would need to do more of but if I do it an extra 2 times would the bit where I repeat 15-24 for the last bit work out well with the bumps?
ReplyDeleteHope I've made sense, thank you
To add length - repeat rows 15 - 38 until you are happy with the length of your blanket. Happy knitting. M
