Millie ~ Baby Doll Blanket

This pretty little blanket is perfect for baby dolls.

it looks great - and is easy to knit .


Millie Baby Doll Blanket

 

Requirements:

DK yarn (100g for the 17” size, up to 350g for a 30” blanket)
4mm needles

 

Measurements:

Width:        9”, 12”, 15", 18½”20½”, 24" 

Length:      adjustable ......... I usually make blankets square, or a little longer than their width

 

Instructions:

Cast on the number of stitches suggested below for the size of blanket you wish to make ~

for a Blanket of around 9”                   ........    cast on 47sts

for a Blanket of around 12”                 ........    cast on 65sts

for a Blanket of around 15”                 ........    cast on 83sts

for a Blanket of around 18½”              ........    cast on 101sts

for a Blanket of around 20½”             ........    cast on 113sts

for a Blanket of around 24”                 ........    cast on 131sts

 

For other sizes ~ If you would like to make this baby blanket smaller or bigger ~

Then reduce or add in multiples of  six stitches   (47 +/-  multiples of 6)


Start with a garter stitch border - knit 4 rows

Row 5:   S1, knit to end

Row 6:   S1, purl to last st, k1

Row 7:   S1, p3, * yon, s1, k2tog, psso, yrn, p3, rep from * to last st, k1

Row 8:   S1, k3, * p3, k3, repeat from * to last st, k1
