Measurements:      14″ circumference, 6¾″ high

This is a very easy to knit baby blanket - and totally reversible.

A lovely gender neutral design.


 4 - 4 Time Baby Blanket


Requires:

DK yarn (8ply / light worsted)

4mm needles

 

Tension / Gauge:

22sts = 4” (10cm)

 

Instructions:

For a Baby Blanket of around 18” ~ cast on 100sts

For a Baby Blanket of around 21” ~ cast on 116sts      

For a Baby Blanket of around 24” ~ cast on 132sts       

For a Baby Blanket of around 27” ~ cast on 148sts       

(for other sizes cast on 100sts +/- multiples of 8)

 

Knit 2 rows

Row 3:  *K4, p4,  repeat from * to last 4sts, k4

Repeat row 3 until you are happy with the length of your blanket

(I usually make blankets square, or a little longer than their width).

Cast off knitwise

Darn away ends

There are 4 sizes ~  Medium Preemie, Large Preemie, Newborn and 0 - 3 Months.

You can choose long or short sleeves.
