Max Cardigan - Child Sizes

A classic cardigan - with long or short sleeves - and a buttoned front.

I wrote baby sizes of this pattern some time ago - and it has been a very popular design !

Later I added a pre-school Toddler size.

Many knitters asked for bigger sizes for children of age 4 upwards - so I am delighted to add this pattern.

2 sizes are included - 26” chest and 28” chest - please note - this is the actual chest size of the finished cardigan.

This design is knitted top-down from the neck.

There are instructions for long or short sleeves - you choose.
And the borders can be garter stitch or ribbed.
Lots of choices.

Requires DK (light worsted) (8ply) yarn and 4mm needles.

A lovely straightforward gender-neutral design.

You will find the baby sizes (newborn to 12 months) on this link ~

Kinzie Baby Booties

Kinzie is a very popular design - romper, sleeveless top, cardigan, hat and mittens ......... are all made often ~ perhaps because it is a good gender-neutral pattern.

Today a member of my facebook group - Margaret Murray - sent me a pic of little booties to match the set !

Kinzie Newborn Baby Booties - knitted by Margaret Murray

And she is happy to share her instructions too, based on my Amity Bootie, but with the cuff adapted to match the Kinzie design.
