This sweet design is very popular.

I originally wrote this pattern for a new baby called Rosie.

Her mum had lots of newborn baby clothes and asked for a bigger size - so I made it to fit a 6 - 9 months baby -

Rosie is now fast approaching 2 years old! Where does the time go ......?

The original pattern used chunky yarn - you will find the link here ~

  1. Love it but my baby is 1 year old already. Could you please give a tip Marianna on how I can change it to fit 1 year old baby? In DK yarn please. Thank you

    1. I know I'm several years later but just go up hook sizes to get bigger sizes but make sure the yarn is also a kind of bigger yarn as well, because with thinner yarns and bigger hooks will make the holes bigger. Hope this helps!

  7. Dear Marianna. Thanks for so uncomplicated patterns. I want to make one for my grandchild who is due in November when it's summer in Australia could you please give a knitted pattern with thread instead of yarn?
