ReplyDeleteThese covers are fantastic. last year alone I made and sold 60 to raise money for Parkinsons uk.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these patterns. I have a knitting group at my shop, but a lot of local ladies from a local WI who help the shop to raise money for a local children's hospice - Francis House Children's Hospice, who have lost a lot of income, especially from their usual Easter chick and bunny appeal which generated very little as we all were closed so unable to sell them to the wider public. So for Christmas we are decorating the village in knitted/crochet decorations as per last year where we raised over £700 from donations. But we are adding in these knitted chocolate orange covers to hopefully raise more money as we'll sell rather than ask for a donation, like the chicks. Your patterns are amazing. So thanks again. I'm knitting up the examples tonight. Maggie

ReplyDeleteThank you
ReplyDeleteHave knitted all of these patterns now, they are great and easy to knit. The only think was I found these were a little big not holding the chocolate securely. So,either the UK Chocolate Oranges have shrunk again (most likely) or I am suddenly a very loose knitter. Easily solved though, I just changed my needle size to 3.25mm and followed the pattern again. I also blended two of the patterns and made a very cute christmas robin by adding some simple triangle wings
ReplyDeleteTHese are adorable! Thanks for sharing!
