It's
starting to feel a little bit like spring here in the UK.
Trees are
starting to bud...... the days are getting longer........
Winter is
past ..... and warmer days are coming .......
Perfect
time to be knitting this cute little baby top.

You will find the pattern for premature baby sizes at ~ http://mariannaslazydaisydays.blogspot.co.uk/2015/03/premature-babies-are-so-precious.html
That's a perfect shape for a newborn as they tend to be very bulky around the waist because of the nappy. I love the buttons
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely Marianna, do you ever sleep? xxx
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely easy one....personally I would make it shorter to come to the waist as I find they need to be fuller below the waist to accommodate all the padding....:) Love your patterns and cant wait to see the variations people make....
ReplyDeleteThat's why I didn't add buttons all down the front - Caroline. If it is a bit more open there is plenty room for bulky padding. Glad you like it. :)
DeleteHi there, as per one of the previous comments, I am confused re the YRN (which is usually used on a pearl row). Should it be YON (as per a knit row)?
ReplyDeleteAlso, why is there a buttonhole on row 3, when there are only 3 buttons at the top of the garment?
I would really appreciate a response, as I love the pattern and would really like to make it. Thanks
The pattern is worked from the top down that is why the buttonhole is a the top
DeleteThis is just a yarn forward (yfwd)
ReplyDeletejust finished this lovely jacket so easy so going to make again
