Faux Cable Baby Mittens

Faux Cable Baby Mittens

I love these sweet little baby mittens - they are so cute!

And a perfect match to my latest baby hat.

The stitch looks like a little cable, but it is actually made using a twisted stitch - no cable needle required !

Tension:

22sts = 4" (10cm) over stocking stitch

Requirements:

DK yarn

3.25mm and 4mm needles

T2 = twist 2

k2tog, then before you drop the stitch off the needle, put the point of your needle between the 2sts and knit the first stitch again, before slipping both off together

T2 = twist 2

It is easy to do - just a little complicated to explain !
