Here is the pattern if you missed it ~
BERT Baby Hat to fit baby of around 0 - 3 months
Requirements:
Around 15 - 18g of DK yarn ~ or any yarn that knits to 22sts = 4" (10cm)
4mm needles
Pattern:
Cast on 61sts
Row 1: S1, * k1, p1, rep from * to last 2st, k2
Row 2: S1, *p1, k1, rep from * to end
Repeat the last 2 rows 3 times more
Row 9: Knit
Row 10: Knit
Row 11: S1, *k3, p3, repeat from * to end
Row 12: *K3, p3, repeat from * to last st, k1
Row 13: S1, *k3, p3, repeat from * to end
Rows 14: *K3, p3, repeat from * to last st, k1
Repeat the last 6 rows (rows 9 – 14) twice more
Row 27: Knit
Row 28: Knit
Row 29: Knit
Row 30: S1, purl to last st, k1
Shape the top ~
Row 1: *K8, k2tog, rep from * to last st, k1
Rows 2, 4, 6, 8,10, 12, 14 & 16: S1, purl to last st, k1
Row 3: *K7, k2tog, rep from * to last st, k1
Row 5: *K6, k2tog, rep from * to last st, k1
Row 7: *K5, k2tog, rep from * to last st, k1
Row 9: *K4, k2tog, rep from * to last st, k1
Row 11: *K3, k2tog, rep from * to last st, k1
Row 13: *K2, k2tog, rep from * to last st, k1
Row 15: *K1, k2tog, rep from * to last st, k1
Row 17: *K2tog, rep from * to last st, k1 7sts
Cut the yarn leaving a ‘tail’ to use for sewing up
With a yarn needle, pull the yarn through all the remaining loops and secure
Sew up side seam and darn away ends.
