Chocolate Orange Cover - Crochet Christmas Hat

I hope you like these! 
This year I have been making crochet Christmas Hats for the Terry's Chocolate Oranges. 
I think they look like little ski hats - so cute 🎅

Crochet Christmas Hat for a Terry’s Chocolate Orange

Requirements:
DK yarn
3.5mm crochet hook

Size:
Width:                  3½“ (7” all around)
Height:                 3½“

Pattern:
This pattern is written in UK terminology      
tr = treble crochet         dc = crochet crochet          ch = chain

Worked in the round
Using the main colour ~
Chain 4, join with a slip stitch into a ring
Round 1:   Ch3, make 9tr into ring, slip stitch to join (10sts)
Round 2:   Ch3 then tr in same stitch as ch2, 2tc in each stitch all around, join with slip stitch  (20sts)
Round 3:   Ch3 then 1tr in same stitch as ch2,  * 1tr in next stitch, 2tr in next stitch repeat from * all around,  join with slip stitch (30sts)
Round 4:   Ch3, 1tr in each stitch all around, join with slip stitch (30sts)
Rounds 5-8: Repeat round 4
Cut off the main colour, join in white or cream yarn
Rounds 9:  Repeat round 4
Round 10:      Ch2, 1dc in each stitch all around, join with slip stitch (30sts)
Fasten off  
Weave in ends

Add a little pom-pom

Pop a Terry's Chocolate Orange inside for a cute little gift!
