Lazy Daisy All-in-One Premature Baby Dress


This sweet little dress is now in three premature baby sizes ~
small, medium and large

Small Premature Baby Top   ~  Width 11",   Length  8" 

DK yarn
4mm needles
2 small buttons
This little baby top is knitted top-down

Tips:
        ·    Cast off loosely on row 26 for the cap sleeves – if you find this difficult – use a larger needle                            
        ·    yfwd – yarn forward seems to be a very UK term – you may know this as yo (yarn over) or yrn (yarn round needle). This makes the buttonholes and also the little eyelet holes on the yoke

Row 3                    K2, yfwd, k2 tog (makes a buttonhole), knit to end of row
Rows 4 & 5            Knit
Row 6                    K4, purl to last 4sts, k4
Row 7                    Knit

Requirements  ~  DK yarn,   4mm needles,   2 small buttons

Tips:

  12. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely patterns! I have been looking for different patterns to knit for the NICU at the local hospital for the premie babies. They told me that they needed lots of beanies and cardigans but no booties. These would be lovely for when they get to leave the hospital!
