These are so cute and just the thing to keep a little childs hands warm now the weather is turning cold. Thank you for another great pattern Marianna. :) xx
ReplyDeleteby decreasing the top, is there a mistake in the pattern ? Easy adjustable.....
ReplyDeleteLovely pattern, very easy to follow. Thank you.
ReplyDeletehave been knitting beanies and gloves for babies and toddlers using the scraps of wool that I have hoarded but couldn't throw away, I needed a pattern for the next size so this pattern will be perfect
ReplyDeleteI am giving them away to the woman's refuge once they are all done
Can I use Aran wool for this pattern? I'm sorry if it's a stupid question but I am still learning!
ReplyDeleteGreat pattern to follow, made a pair each for my girls, thank you
ReplyDeletegreat pattern easy to follow my daughter loves her mittens
ReplyDeleteQuick to knit and easy to follow. I can knit a pair in an evening. I have done several pairs in different colours. My grandson loves them.
ReplyDeleteOk beginner knitter lol, when the pattern sais work rows is that straight knitting?
ReplyDeleteHi, after completing the thumb, the pattern asks to rejoin yarn to last 18 stitches left on the needle, purl 18. Continue on 36 stitches.
ReplyDeleteHowever the needle is facing the wrong way, so you can't knit them...what do I do here?
when yourejoin the yarn to the last 18 stitches , you should be joining the yarn in the middle of the knit section , with the wrong side facing ! hope this helps
DeleteUse double-pointed needles. With so few stitches, they don't fall off the ends. I made my first mitten tonight--LOVE THIS PATTERN!!
DeleteHow do I get these patterns to print?????
ReplyDeletejust hold down your ctrl ( control ) button and P (the letter p button ) on your keypad , this should take you to your print screen function
Deletegreat - quick easy pattern , will use again and again - thank you
ReplyDeleteThank you for an easy pattern that can be made differently each time.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I would have preferred that the 2 sizes were noted on the same pattern.
Thank you for this lovely, easy pattern.
ReplyDeleteNowadays, patterns always seem to use circular or double pointed needles, so I am very grateful to you for this.
I have used quite a few of your patterns now, they are always so straight forward. Thank you very much.
Lovely pattern, elegantly simple and quick to knit with excellent results. Made a pair of the baby size in a different colour for each of my twin grandchildren - they loved them and I have enough wool left to knit the next size up! Thank you Marianna.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much. I have never knitted mittens before and I have had fun knitting your patten. Thank you very much, from Victoria - Australia, New South Wales, Ettalong Beach.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this pattern, because of the Coronavirus it will definitely keep me busy and they’ll go in shoebox for 3rd world at Christmas
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteI'd like to make the next size up, how many stitches do I cast on? And do I add more stitches further into the pattern?
ReplyDeleteWhat does psso stand for please?
ReplyDeletePass slipped stitch over
ReplyDeleteThis is ideal for charity knitting!
