It's lovely Marianna especially in red. :) xx
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful pattern - thank you so much. Although I have knitted for years, I still have very little confidence in patterns where picking up etc., is involved. I have enjoyed knitting all your patterns, especially the Top Down Jackets. Was looking for a new project, so am just about to case on and knit this hat xx
ReplyDeleteThis is a SUPER CUTE hat, Marianna! I need to make this one too ;-) You bring such inspiration to us, thank you so much!!!
ReplyDeleteSweet hat pattern! I've pinned it for later and appreciate such a great free pattern :-)
ReplyDeleteKnitting novice here! What is meant by include a stitch at each end of row 12?
ReplyDeleteHi L
DeleteInc means increase a stitch - at each end of the row. You start with 98sts and add an extra stitch at each end of the row - you now have 100sts to continue ...... Hope this makes sense. M
If you have 98 and only increase 1 st on Row 12, how do you get 100 st??
DeleteEnjoyed doing the beanie, such an easy pattern to follow. Completed it in one afternoon. Hope to do more of your patterns, and thank you.
DeleteWhat is S1 and how do I do it?
ReplyDeleteThank you. I'm a novice knitter! Is it a slip stitch?
ReplyDeleteCould we have a print button, please, for the pattern?
ReplyDeleteWhat adjustments need to be made to knit this in the round?
ReplyDeleteCould you consider doing an adult sized one??? Think this is gorgeous. In fact matching pre-school and mummy hats would be amazing!! pretty pretty please!
ReplyDeleteOh what a lovely pattern
ReplyDeletethank you very much for sharing x
How would I make it adult sized? Thank you. It's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHi have just finished making the hat in a lovely baby blue colour. Easy to make. Great design
ReplyDeleteHi, was the stitches number count accurate? I am asking b/c for some patterns the number count was differing so I dont want to start something which will come out to be wrong in the middle of the project. Asking you as you mentioned that you have made this hat.
DeleteBeautiful as usual Thank you for all your wonderful patterns
ReplyDeleteHi Marion, can I just ask about the sizings please. The picture says 0-3months but the pattern says 3-5 months. Which is correct please? Thank you xx
ReplyDeleteI can't type today - it should read the pattern says 3-6 months x
DeleteI made the sweater/jacket and love it. I want to make the hat, Can this be made in the round using the majic loop?
ReplyDeleteI did make this in the round, the only change I had to really make was instead of the purl row I just knitted. I worked out great!
ReplyDeleteWanted to post my sweater, and hat I also made some booties to match not sure how to post.
ReplyDeleteThis is an adorable hat, thank you. Is the psso, 1 knit then slip over or 2 knit tog. and slip over?
ReplyDeleteI love the pattern but seaming is not my strong point. Can this be done on circular needles, and if so can I use the same number of stitches and when there are fewer stitches transfer to double pointed needles?
ReplyDeleteSo just love your patterns
ReplyDeleteI too just love this pattern and am getting ready to knit the middle size 9-12mth baby, I noticed that in the smaller and larger sizes, the pattern states to increase 1 stitch at each end of the last row of ribbing but it doesn't say to do this with the 9-12mth size, is this correct or do you also increase on the last ribbing row?
ReplyDeleteThanks, I really enjoy your patterns and am also going to make the baby hug boots for my new granddaughters
Kath
Does anyone know what S1 means...Is it slip 1?
ReplyDeleteI've made the 0-3 month jacket but can't find the matching hat in that size. I've found the premmie one and the 3-6 and upwards. Is there a 0-3 please
ReplyDeleteThank you for your pattern. I am making the hat for size 3 to 6 months old. In the pattern you said
ReplyDelete"
Repeat these 2 rows 4 times more, inc one stitch at each end of last row (72sts)" how they will be 72sts and in each row i am adding one more st? Please if ypu can help me with this.
Is possible obtein this page in spanish? I cannot understand the abreviated instructions . Thanks. All is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteConfused🤹♀️Are you using dpn needles?
ReplyDeletewhat is S1? and do we need double point needles?
ReplyDeletePlease expound further on the patterns. I want to learn but can't understand the initials
ReplyDeleteLove your hats hope some day you will find a way to print them for circular needles as well. keeping my fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleteS1 = Slip 1
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pattern. Thank you
