Striped Ribbed Wristwarmers for Teens & Adults

More ribbed wristwarmers!!

Yesterday I showed you some lovely ribbed wristwarmers made with double sock yarn........ so easy to make and a perfect little extra Christmas gift.

I wanted to make more but I don't have any more sock yarn in my stash.

So I thought about it, and decided to use up some small amounts of DK yarn I had left over from previous projects, and make some striped ones.

This pair is for one of my nieces - she is quirky, so I made each hand different from the other but using the same colours to ensure that they look like a pair!!

They will look much better on her slim wrists :)

  2. Great work, a knitting friend of mine said she is knitting a sweater using different weights of yarn, double knitting used as 2 strands and chunky yarn, she told me it's working great and it's using up her stash too

    1. Hello.Glad you like them!
Add an extra 4 stitches for an average ladies size. The ribbing is stretchy so size is not too much of a problem.
      Best wishes.
