Turquoise Blanket

Hope you like my latest blanket.

 
 

 
Made in DK yarn. Each block has 15sts and 7 rows, bordered with an open st row.

 
Then I added a scalloped edging, a couple of flowers and a bright butterfly.

Crochet Butterfly Blanket

Make 146 chain
1st Row – 1tr into third ch from hook, 1tr into each of next 13ch, (1ch, miss 1ch, 1tr into each of next 15ch ) repeat from ( to ) to end of row, turn

2nd  Row – 2ch, miss first tr, 1tr into each of next 14tr, (1ch, miss 1tr, 1tr into each of next 15tr) repeat from ( to ) to end of row, turn
Repeat this row 5 times more

8th Row – 4ch, miss first 2tr, 1tr into next tr, (1ch, miss 1tr, 1tr into next tr) repeat from ( to ) to end of row, turn
9th Row – 2ch, miss first tr, (1tr into 1ch space, 1tr into next tr) 7 times, * 1ch, miss 1ch, 1tr into next tr,  (1tr into 1ch space, 1tr into next tr) 7 times *  repeat from * to * to end of row, turn

Continue in pattern as follows ~
Repeat 2nd Row 6 times

Repeat  8th and 9th Rows once
These 8 rows form pattern

Repeat last 8 rows until blanket is 9 blocks deep stopping after the 8th Row
This row forms the first row of the border – continue this row along next side of the blanket working 2ch, 1tr into corner tr, then 1ch, 1tr along edge of each pattern to end of side – continue along third side working 2ch, 1tr into corner tr, then 1ch, 1tr along edge to end of side – continue along fourth side to match second side and join with a slip stitch.  
 
Work one row of trebles, or make a scallop or shell stitch row. Join with a slip stitch. Fasten off.
