Garter Stitch is really popular right now for baby knits.
So, I thought I would add this cute little hat for a new baby ~ or baby doll.

6½ “ circumference, 3″
high
Using 4mm needles
& DK yarn, cast on
35sts
Work 8 rows in
rib, increasing one stitch at the end of the last row (36sts)
Knit 24 rows (or
until hat measures around 3” from the cast on)
Shape Top ~

Row: *K3, k2tog, repeat from * to last st,
k1 (29sts)
