Rows 1 & 2    Knit
Row 3            K2, yrn, k2tog (this makes a buttonhole), knit to end
Rows 4 - 6     Knit                  
Row 7            K5, *(kfb, kfb, k1) rep from * to last 5sts, k5                             55sts    
Row 8 - 10     Knit
Row 11          K6, *(kfb, kfb, k3) rep from * to last 4sts, k4                              73sts
Row 12 - 14   Knit
Row 15          K7, *(kfb, kfb, k5) rep from * to last 3st, k3                               91sts
Row 16 - 18    Knit
Row 19          K2, yrn, k2tog (this makes a buttonhole), k4, *(kfb, kfb, k7) rep from * to last 2sts, k2                                109sts
Row 20 - 23   Knit
Row 24          K18, cast off 21sts knitwise, k30, cast off 21sts knitwise, k17          67sts

Row 25          K2, *(k7, m1) to last 9sts, k9   OR you can do it this way ~

Repeat last 2 rows twice more

Shape as follows ~

Row 1           K4 *k5, k2tog, rep from * to last 4sts, k4 
Row 2 and every even row:       K4, purl to last 4sts, k4 
Row 3:          K4 *k4, k2tog, rep from * to last 4sts, k4 
Row 5:          K4 *k3, k2tog, rep from * to last 4sts, k4 
Row 7:          K4 *k2, k2tog, rep from * to last 4sts, k4 
Row 9:          K4 *k1, k2tog, rep from * to last 4sts, k4 
Row 11:        K4, k2tog all across the row to last 4sts, k4

Row 12:        K4, p2tog all across the row to the last 5sts, k5

Cut the yarn leaving a ‘tail’ 

With a yarn needle, pull the yarn through all the remaining loops and secure

Darn away ends

Sew on buttons to correspond with the buttonholes
