DeleteLovely pattern, and looks easy to do--thanks!
ReplyDeletePlease - how many stitches to make it 36" wide? This is beautiful, but much smaller than I had hoped Jeannie

DeleteEach pattern repeat is 12 stitches equaling about 2", so to increase your blanket another 8" means that you should add 48 stitches.
DeleteI would like to knit this blanket but what does kfb stand for. thanks
ReplyDeletethankyou for your pattern was wondering what kfb stands for
DeleteKFB = Knit Front & Back Of The Same Stitch
DeleteI would like to knit this blanket but what does kfb stand for
ReplyDeleteI was wondering what kfb was as well
ReplyDeletekfb is knit front and back loops of the stitch which provides 1 increased stitch.
DeleteAlso, whenever you find a stitch abbreviation that you don't recognize, go to YouTube and you can usually find a video demonstrating that stitch. Here are a selection of videos for the kfb:

Yes, but most knitting patterns include a list of abbreviations to make it easier for knitters to follow their directions. Abbreviation charts greatly appreciated by us beginning knitters!
