Angelita Small Premature Baby Bolero with Long Sleeves
Measures ~ width 6", length 6", sleeve length 3½ "
 
DK yarn (around 18 - 20g)
4mm needles
Cast on 42sts
1st Row:            S1, knit to end
2nd Row:           S1, knit to end
3rd Row:            S1, k2, kfb, knit to last 5sts, kfb, k4
Repeat this row once more                                                                    (46sts)
5th Row:            S1, k2, kfb, knit to last 5sts, kfb, k4
6th Row:            S1, k2, kfb, purl to last 5sts, pfb, k4
Repeat the last 2 rows until you have 66sts 
15th Row:          S1, knit to end
16th Row:          S1, k3, purl to last 4sts, k4
Repeat the last 2rows 3times more
23rd Row:          S1, k1, yrn, k2tog (makes a buttonhole), knit to end
Divide for back and fronts...
24th Row:         S1, k3, purl 45 - put the remaining 17sts onto a stitch holder
Cast on 5sts at beg of next row (for sleeve), knit these 5sts and continue to knit across row until last 17sts - put these 17sts onto a stitch holder
Cast on 5sts at beg of next row (for sleeve),
Next Row:         Purl to end  (this is the back)
Next Row:         Cast on 5sts at beg of next row, knit these 5sts and continue to knit across row
Next Row:         Cast on 5sts at beg of next row, purl these 5sts and continue to purl across row
Next Row:         Cast on 10sts at beg of next row, knit these 10sts and continue to knit across row
Next Row:         Cast on 10sts at beg of next row, knit 5, purl to last 5sts, k5                     (72sts)
Next Row:         S1, knit to end
Next Row:         S1, k4, purl to last 5sts, k5
Repeat the last 2 rows 5 times more
Next Row:         S1, knit across row
Next Row:         S1, k4, p19, k2tog, k20, k2tog tbl, p19, k5
Cast off loosely
 
Work left front ~
Put the 17sts for the left front back onto needles, join yarn, cast on 5sts (for sleeve)
Knit these 5sts and continue to knit across row
Next Row:         S1, k3, purl to end
Cast on 5sts
Knit these 5sts and continue to knit across row to the last 6sts, k2tog, k4
Next Row:         S1, k3, purl to end
Cast on 10sts
Knit these 10sts and continue to knit across row to the last 6sts, k2tog, k4
Next Row:         S1, k3, purl to last 5sts, k5
Next Row:         S1, knit to the last 6sts, k2tog, k4
Next Row:         S1, k3, purl to last 5sts, k5
Repeat the last 2 rows, until 28sts remain
Cast off shoulder stitches loosely
 
Work right front ~
Put the 17sts for the right front back onto needles, join yarn, cast on 5sts (for sleeve)
Purl to last 4sts, k4
Next Row:         S1, k3, s1, k1, psso, knit to end
Cast on 5sts
Purl to last 4sts, k4
Next Row:         S1, k3, s1, k1, psso, knit to end
Cast on 10sts
Knit 5sts, purl to last 4sts, k4
Next Row:         S1, k3, s1, k1, psso, knit to end
Next Row:         S1, k4, purl to last 4sts, k4
Repeat the last 2 rows, until 28sts remain
Cast off shoulder stitches loosely
 
Join shoulder and under arm seams
Darn away ends
Sew on button
