Cast off loosely PURLWISE (I used a 5mm needle to make
sure I had a loose cast off edge)
Gather together top. Sew up seam.
Darn away ends. Add a pretty button or a little ribbon bow.
I will be adding more sizes soon ............

This is the first top-down knitted hat pattern I've ever seen and that cat button is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThanks for anoher great pattern
ReplyDeleteprobably a goofy comment-I love this pattern (and all your patterns), but is there a way we can download it somehow in a "printer friendly" format? I just printed this out-it took 3 pages and sucked a ton of color ink from my printer cartridges. thanks.
ReplyDeleteHi Crafty1, you could highlight the pattern text, copy and paste into a word document and print it that way. I shall be knitting this pattern this weekend for my sisters baby due in feb, soo pretty.
DeleteThis is what I always do. Once I have downloaded it to a word document, I reformat it, usually into 2 columns. Resizing the font, shrinking pix, anything necessary to use less pages.
DeleteHi Marianna, lovely pattern. Do you happen to have one for mittens to match?
ReplyDeleteCute cute cute
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeletePlease can you tell me what kfb is short for

Knit into front of stitch and without slipping it off the needle knit into the back of the same stitch. Slip off making an extra stitch.
