Cute Baby Sweaters

All-in-One Short Sleeved Baby Sweaters

pink & white baby sweater

I have been making these pretty baby sweaters this week.
They are a great way to use up part balls ~ I seem to have loads of those in my stash.

As they are knitted from the top down - back, front & sleeves all in one -
it really doesn't matter when you run out of one colour and change to the next.
Change colour at the beginning of any row.

This design is knitted on a circular needle - in rows across the yoke, then in rounds  -
and has instructions for long or short sleeves -
and in sizes from newborn to 8years.
I chose not to follow the pattern chart, just did my own thing!

I like the shape - very cute.

I think I will be making lots of these........

    1. LOL. Me too. Actually I did mine on straight needles as I hate circulars. I am much faster on straights! I simply seamed up one side seam at the end.

    1. I agree Jaqui - I can knit on circular needles but it is too slow for me. So I made mine on straight needles, and joined the side seam. No problem. X
