I know that many of you loved knitting my Danika baby jacket - but that quite a few of you found the stitch pattern more difficult than you were able to do right now, and gave up in disgust!
So I have just written a similar baby jacket pattern with a little collar -
using a simpler stitch for beginners and improvers. Happy knitting x

Requirements:
50g DK yarn 4mm needles 3 small buttons
Measurements:
Width: 15” - 16” (38 - 41cm)
Length: 8 ½ ” (21.5cm)
Sleeve length: 4 ¾ ” (12cm)
Instructions:
Begin with the Sleeves (work 2)
Using 4mm needles, cast on 25sts
Work 6 rows in garter stitch
(knit every row)
Work 30 rows in stocking stitch, increasing one stitch at each end of 5th
, 11th and 17th
rows (31sts)
The sleeve should now measure about 5” – you can add more rows if
required
Next Row: Cast off 3sts, work to
last 3sts, cast off 3sts (25sts)
Leave these 25 stitches on a spare needle
