Width:    6", 15.25cm, 12” (30.5cm all around) 
Height:  5¾", 15cm

Requires:
DK yarn – Approx 18gms
4mm needles

Cast on 66sts
Knit 10 rows garter stitch
Row 11:        S1, knit to end
Row 12:        S1, purl to last st k1
Row 13:        S1, *p4, k4* rep from * to last st, k1
Row 14:        As row 12
Row 15:        As row 13
Row 16:        As row 12
Row 17:        As row 13
Row 18:        As row 12
Rep rows 11 and 12
Row 21:        S1, k4, *p4, k4 rep from * to last 5sts, p4, k1
Row 22:        As row 12
Row 23:        As row 21
Row 24:        As row 12
Row 25:        As row 21
Row 26:        As row 12
Rep these 16 rows once more decreasing 1st in the middle of the last row (65sts)

Shape Crown ~
1st Row:        (K6, K2 tog) repeat to last st, k1                        57sts
2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th,10th Rows:        Knit
3rd Row:       (K5, k2tog) repeat to last st, k1                         49sts
5th Row:       (K4, k2tog) repeat to last st, k1                         41sts
7th Row:       (K3, k2tog) repeat to last st, k1                         33sts
9th Row:       (K2, k2tog) repeat to last st, k1                         25sts
11th Row:      (K1, k2tog) repeat to last st, k1                         17sts
12th Row:      (P2tog) repeat to last st, k1                                9sts
Cut yarn (leaving a long ‘tail’ to use for sewing up), draw the end through all stitches, pull up tightly.
Sew up the seam. Darn away ends.

Rep rows 21 and 22 twice more

Row 29:        S1, k1, *p4, k4, rep from * to last 2sts, k2
Row 30:        As row 20
Rep rows 29 and 30 twice more
Knit 2 rows

Babbity / Jordan Baby Jacket
Knitted by the very talented Chris Hunter
Chris Hunter (a member of my facebook group) knitted this beautiful little jacket.
For the top part she used my Babbity pattern ...... and then added the stitch pattern to match the Jordan Hat & Mittens on the lower part.  
It turned out really well - so sweet!
