TOP TIP
To cast off at the end of a row ~
You work across the row until you have 3sts on your left hand needle .
Knit the first st, knit the second st, and pass the first over the
second.
Knit the last st and pass the second st over it. You will now have a
loop - cut the yarn and pull it through the loop. Easy !
Leave these 34 stitches on a spare needle

ReplyDeleteThanks a million for sharing! This one is beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI have just made this cardigan and cannot thank you enough. As far as knitting goes I'm not a beginner but I am not overly skilled either and what puts me off, despite loving knitting, is sewing the pieces of a garment up. With that in mind this pattern has been a delight for me knitting the body in one piece and with the button band being knitted as part of main body of work. Thank you so much for sharing and I most certainly will make more of these and also take time to have a good look through anything else you have shared. Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteAs someone who enjoys knitting but gets put off by sewing, I cannot thank you enough for this wonderful pattern. I am not a beginner but nor am i overly skilled at knitting, dreadful at sewing! I have just knitted this for my first baby granddaughter due in May and this pattern has been nothing short of perfection for myself, given that the body is knitted in one piece and the button band also being included on main piece. I simply can't thank you enough and look forward to doing many ,more in different colours as well as taking time to get a good old nosey through your other patterns. I appreciate the fact that you have freely shared this as sometimes the cost of patterns can be a major determining factor when it comes to knitting or not! Thank you once again x
