  10. Hi, after completing the thumb, the pattern asks to rejoin yarn to last 18 stitches left on the needle, purl 18. Continue on 36 stitches.
However the needle is facing the wrong way, so you can't knit them...what do I do here?

    1. when yourejoin the yarn to the last 18 stitches , you should be joining the yarn in the middle of the knit section , with the wrong side facing ! hope this helps

    2. Use double-pointed needles. With so few stitches, they don't fall off the ends. I made my first mitten tonight--LOVE THIS PATTERN!!

  13. Thank you for an easy pattern that can be made differently each time.
However, I would have preferred that the 2 sizes were noted on the same pattern.

  14. Thank you for this lovely, easy pattern.
Nowadays, patterns always seem to use circular or double pointed needles, so I am very grateful to you for this.
I have used quite a few of your patterns now, they are always so straight forward. Thank you very much.

  15. Lovely pattern, elegantly simple and quick to knit with excellent results. Made a pair of the baby size in a different colour for each of my twin grandchildren - they loved them and I have enough wool left to knit the next size up! Thank you Marianna.
