Last month I added a pattern for a sweet unisex baby hat.
Here is the matching baby blanket.

Unity Baby Blanket
Requires:
DK yarn (around 100g for the 18" size, 250g for the 24" size, and around 380g for the 30" size)
4mm needles
Sizes:
You can change the size by adding or reducing in multiples of 4 stitches (69 +/- multiples of 4)
For an Angel baby or doll’s blanket of 12½“ Cast on 69sts
For a preemie baby blanket of 18” Cast on 101sts
For a newborn baby blanket of 24” Cast on 133sts
For a baby blanket of 30” Cast on 165sts
Instructions:
For the Border ~
Cast on 133sts (or the number of stitches stated above for the size you want to make)
Knit 8 rows
Pattern ~
Row 1: K5, *k3, p1, repeat from * to last 8sts, k8
Row 2: K6, *p1, k3 repeat from * to last 3sts, k3
Repeat the last 2 rows until the blanket is as long as it is wide
For the Top Border ~
Knit 9 rows
Cast off
