UNITY HAT Medium Premature Baby Hat
Size:
Width:
4¼“ (11cm), 8½“ (22cm) all around
Height:
4½“ (11.5cm)
Requires:
DK yarn ~ around 8g
4mm needles
Pattern:
Cast on 49sts
1st Row:
S1, * k1, p1, rep from * to last 2sts, k2
2nd Row:
S1, * p1, k1, rep from * to end
Repeat the last 2 rows 3 times more
Continue in pattern ~
9th Row: K1, *k3, p1, repeat from * to end
10th Row: K2, *p1, k3 repeat from * last 3sts, p1,
k2
Repeat the last 2 rows 6 times more
Shape the top ~
Row 1: *K4, k2tog,
repeat from * to last st,
k1 (41sts)
Row 2: S1, purl to last st, k1
Row 3: *K3, k2tog, repeat from * to last st, k1 (33sts)

ReplyDeleteI love the Unity Hat, it is so satisfying to knit. Would love to make one for an adult cancer patient who has lost all her hair. Can someone please help to convert?
