Jack & Jill Baby Hats

I have had many requests for bigger sizes of my popular little Jack & Jill Baby Hats. So I have added a range of bigger sizes for you.

Easy to knit ~ and a lovely gender-neutral design.

Jack & Jill Baby Hat        0-3months




Jack & Jill Hat            0 - 3 months Baby     

13“ circumference, 6“ high


Using 4mm needles & DK yarn, cast on 65sts

Border ~

1st Row:  S1, knit to end of row

Repeat this row 3 times more


Pattern ~

5th Row:  S1, knit to end of row

6th Row:  S1, *p3, k1, repeat from * to end

Repeat the last two rows until work measures 4½ “

  1. The repeating pattern bit for the 6th row says *k2, p3*. Shouldn't that be *k1, p3*? That's how it is in the jack & jill cardigan.
