Cast on 77sts

1st Row:          S1, knit to end

Repeat the last row 9 times more

 

11th Row:         S1, knit to end

12th Row:         S1, purl to last st, k1

13th Row:          *K2tog, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, yo, k2tog, k2tog, repeat from * to end

14th Row:         S1, knit to end

These 4 rows form the pattern

Repeat the last 4rows 7 times more

43rd Row:         S1, knit to end

44th Row:         S1, knit to end

45th Row:         (K2tog, k23) 3times, k2tog                              73sts

46th Row:         S1, knit to end

 

Shape the top  ~

1st Row:           (K7, K2 tog) repeat to last st, k1                      65sts

2nd, 4th,6th,8th,10th , 12th Rows:  S1, knit to end
3rd Row:           (K6, K2 tog) repeat to last st, k1                      57sts
5th Row:           (K5, K2 tog) repeat to last st, k1                     49sts
7th Row:           (K4, K2 tog) repeat to last st, k1                     41sts
9th Row:           (K3, K2 tog) repeat to last st, k1                     33sts
