With wrong side facing, rejoin yarn to 31sts of first sleeve

Row 2:         Knit into front & back of first st, knit to last st, knit into front & back of last st

Row 3:         S1, purl to last st, k1

Row 4:         S1, knit to end of row

Row 5:         S1, purl to last st, k1

Row 6:         S1, k2tog, knit to last 3sts, k2tog, k1                     (31sts)

Row 7:         S1, purl to last st, k1

Row 8:         S1, knit to end of row

Row 9:         S1, purl to last st, k1

Repeat the last 4 rows three times more                                    (25sts)

Next Row:    S1, knit to end of row

Next Row:    S1, purl to last st, k1

Next Row:    S1, *k1, p1, rep from * to last 2sts, k2

Short Sleeves

With wrong side facing, rejoin yarn to 31sts of first sleeve

Rib 6 rows, or garter stitch 6 rows.

Make the second sleeve in the same way

Sew up sleeve seams. Gather together underarms

Darn away ends


Sew on buttons and tiny ribbon bows

  3. I love this pattern & have been asked by a friend if I could knit it in a toddler 2t size but have no idea how to adjust the pattern -- any suggestions or do you have a bigger pattern for toddlers, thanks Chris
