Width of Chest - 10"
Width of Skirt - 12” 
Length - 9" 

Requires ~

Around 25g DK yarn, or any yarn that knits to a tension of 22sts = 4” (10cm)
4mm needles
3 small buttons or ribbon ties

Knitted top-down

This sweet little Angel Gown can be fastened with either 3 tiny buttons ~ or a length of ribbon.       

If you are using the ribbon closers – omit the buttonholes from rows 3, 19 and 35              

Top Tip:
Cast off loosely on row 24 for the cap sleeves – if you find this difficult – use a larger needle                               
Cast on 33sts

Rows 1 & 2   Knit
Row 3          K2, yon, k2tog (makes a buttonhole), knit to end of row
Rows 4         Knit
Row 5           K4, (p1, k2) 9 times, k2
Row 6           K4, (k1, p2) 8 times, k5
Row 7           K4, (pfb, k2) 9 times, k2                                          42sts
Row 8           K4, (k2, p2) 8 times, k6
Row 9           K4, (pfb, p1, k2) 9 times, k2                                    51sts   
Row 10         K4, (k3, p2) 8 times, k7
Row 11         K4, (p1, pfb, p1, k2) 9 times, k2                               60sts
Row 12         K4, (k4, p2) 8 times, k8
Row 13         K2, yon, k2tog, (p1, pfb, p2, k2) 9 times, k2                69sts
Row 14         K4, (k5, p2) 8 times, k9
Row 15         K4, (p2, pfb, p2, k2) 9 times, k2                               78sts
Row 16         K4, (k6, p2) 8 times, k10
Row 17         K4, (p2, pfb, p3, k2) 9 times, k2                              87sts

Rows 19, 20, 21, 22         Knit
Row 23         K2, yon, k2tog (makes a buttonhole), knit to end
Row 24         K14, cast off 17sts, k24, cast off 17sts, k13               53sts
Row 25         K3, * (kfb, k2) repeat from * to last 2sts, k2              69sts
Row 26         K4, purl to last 4st k4
Row 27         Knit
Row 28         K4, purl to last 4st k4
Repeat the last 2 rows until the work measures around 8½“ from the cast on edge
Knit 5 rows
Cast off loosely (if you find this difficult – use a larger size needle)

Darn away ends
Add 3 tiny buttons ~ or ~ cut a length of ribbon into 4 pieces and sew 2 pieces on either side of back edges at the neck and bottom of the yoke.
