Around 75 - 80g DK yarn          

4mm needles                             

3 small buttons

 

Measurements:

Width:         18½ "          

Length:        10"         

Sleeve length:  6" 

 

Tension:

22sts = 4" (10cm)

 

Instructions:

 

Begin with the Sleeves (work 2)          

Using DK yarn and 4mm needles, cast on 29sts

1st Row:       S1, * k1, p1, repeat from * to last 2sts, k2

2nd Row:       S1, * p1, k1, repeat from * to end    

Repeat the last 2 rows three times more, increase one stitch at the beginning of the last row            (30sts)

Work 40 rows in stocking stitch, increasing one stitch at each end of 5th, 11th, 17th, 23rd and 29th rows      (40sts)

The sleeve should now measure around 6” – you can add more rows if required

Next Row:  Cast off 3sts, work to last 3sts, cast off 3sts   (34sts)

Leave these 34 stitches on a spare needle

  1. I love your patterns. They are pretty, simple and instructions easy to follow. Buttons are interesting these days on garments. Some people only want 1 or 2 buttons on an item and other people want all the buttons. I find this when I make friends dolls clothes. lol. Kids want all the buttons on clothing. lol.

  2. I make and donate premmie things to the nicu at our hospital.i love your patterns to death. Where can i buy your patterns at.i use a pay as you go phone, so it is hard to follow along the patterns sometimes. Help

  3. Hi all, after knitting the sleeves and leaving them on a spare needle. How do I then get them off the needle to attach them to the cardigan? I know I'm probably being stupid.
