I love your Dexter pattern - did one for my grandson and now doing the 12 month version. Am I right that Row 48 should read S1, k4, p25 (not 15), k 11, p25, k5? Not very good on computers so not sure how to sign this. Pat in Scotland

  16. Dear Marianna I love your patterns they make me a much more confident knitter. I wonder if you had anything a little larger in the above pattern? I want to knit for my nephew something for his 4th birthday in March. If you can help in any I would be extremely grateful... I don't like knitting in the round and therefore only knit use straight needles. Hope to hear from you soon. Anna

  20. Wonderful pattern. I made the 2-3 year size for my son, who is 3 1/2. It fits him very nicely with a little room to grow :) This was my first ever knitted sweater, and it was a great one to start with. Very straightforward and easy to follow. I'd love to make a bigger size for my older kids, too, so I'm trying to work out how to make that happen. Thank you for sharing such a nice pattern with us for free!

  30. Thanks Mariana this is lovely, do you happen to have a size 3-4 or 4-5 yrs, my daughter has asked me to make my Grandson one to go over a shirt, which this is ideal for, but he is between sizes, being only 3 yrs old he is tall for his age.

I hope you realise just what a God send you are to knitters and crocheters, I have been busy recently knitting prem baby tops and hats. Also the birth to 3 month size top down for my neighbour who has had a little girl. So I have to get my head around knitting larger sizes and allowing enough time for them, I personally love the prem sizes as they knit up so quickly and you know they will be appreciated in times of need. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for all you do xx
