If so, you will probably want to make some little pants. 

I have added instructions for 3 sizes - the smallest fits this cute 5" baby doll.

Small amount DK yarn

4mm needles

 

Tension / Gauge ~

22sts = 4” (10cm)

 

Size 1           for a 5” Baby Doll

 

Measurements ~

Width:           2” across, 4” all around

Height:          1½“

 

Instructions ~

Cast on 11sts

Row 1:          Knit

Row 2:          Knit

Row 3:          S1, knit to end

Row 4:          S1, purl to last st, k1

Row 5:          K2tog, knit to last 2sts, k2tog                 9sts

Row 6:          S1, purl to last st, k1

Repeat the last 2 rows once more                               7sts

Row 9:          K2tog, k2tog, k1, k2tog                          4sts

Row 10:        S1, p2, k1

Row 11:        Kfb, kfb, kfb, k1                                     7sts

Row 12:        S1, purl to last st, k1

Row 13:        Kfb, knit to last 2sts, kfb, k1                    9sts

Row 14:        S1, purl to last st, k1

Repeat the last 2 rows once more                              11sts

Row 17 :       S1, knit to end

Row 18:        S1, purl to last st, k1

These are very sweet little trousers for a premature baby, or for baby dolls.

There are 4 sizes:

extra-small preemie,

small preemie,

medium preemie,

large preemie,

or for baby dolls of around 12” - 18”in length,

including Tiny Tears, Classis Baby Born, and Baby Annabell

Requirements:

DK yarn - or any yarn that knits to a tension/gauge of 22sts = 4” (10cm)

4mm needles

Elastic (optional)

A quick and easy knit!

Top Tip ~ if you do not want to add elastic or ribbon - omit the eyelet row and work a row 1 instead. To give a better grip you may need to use a smaller size of needles for the rib if you do it this way.

Requires DK yarn and 4mm needles

Size 1 ~ around 6g

Size 2 ~ around 8g

Size 3 ~ around 10g

Size 4 ~ around 12g
