Why not make this cute little Hooded Baby Cape for a new baby?
So Pretty ........ and Practical too!

Rows 1 & 2   S1, knit to end

Row 3           S1, k1, yfwd, k2tog (makes a buttonhole), knit to end of row


Rows 4 & 5    S1, knit to end


Row 6           S1, k3, purl to last 4sts, k4


Row 7           S1, k6, * yrn, k6, repeat from * to last st, k1                          64sts


Row 8           S1, k3, purl to last 4sts, k4

To add the hood ~

With the wrong side facing, pick up and knit each stitch along the neck edge – omitting the 4 border stitches at each side          48sts
