 Why is it .....with just 12 days to go..... someone NEEDS Barbie boots for Christmas?

Barbie Boots 

The red boots are the long boots on a Barbie with shaped feet.

The white boots are the long boots on a Barbie with flat feet.

The blue boots are the short version.

Barbie Boots

 

DK yarn

3.5mm (or 3.25mm needles)

 

Long Boots

Cast on 12sts

Knit 2 rows

Stocking stitch 20 rows

Next Row:       K2tog across row                    (6sts)

Next Row:       S1, purl to last st, k1

Next Row:       K2tog across row                    (3sts)

Next Row:       S1, p1, k1

Next Row:       S1, k2tog, psso                       (1st)

Fasten off

Join the seam

Darn away ends

 

Short Boots

Cast on 12sts

Knit 2 rows

Stocking stitch 10 rows

Next Row:       K2tog across row                    (6sts)

Next Row:       S1, purl to last st, k1

Next Row:       K2tog across row                    (3sts)

Next Row:       S1, p1, k1

Next Row:       S1, k2tog, psso                       (1st)

Fasten off

These sweet little serarates are designed to fit the new curvy shaped Fashionista Barbie Doll.

I totally approve of her new realistic shape - with wider waist and hips –

a much better image for our children to be exposed to.  

These items do fit the traditional classic Barbie, though they are looser of course.

The pattern includes instructions for a variety of Tops, Skirts, a Playsuit, Shorts and Trousers ………14 different designs in all !

Each item requires ~
Less than 10g of DK yarn
4mm needles for the curvy Fashionista Barbie
3.5mm for the Classic Barbie

Fun to knit ……… and sure to be a hit for the Barbie lovers in your family!
