what a lovely little pattern :)
ReplyDeleteI will surely use it on a matching sweater
thanks again for your creativity
Love this! Other things like a cardigan to go with this one yet? Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteCardigan is almost finished - I will add the instructions very soon ! :)
DeleteThank you. I was wondering what to knit next. I have several Babbity outfits ready to go to my neonatal unit. I will make some of these with the left over wools.
ReplyDeleteThanks again
It is lovely. I love the name. I have fond memories of the island. I was in fact nearly called Iona.
ReplyDeleteIt is a great place, and a great name!
DeleteWhen will we be lucky to get a pattern for jacket to match this beautiful hat?
ReplyDeleteI ran out of time today - so tomorrow !
DeleteSuch a beautiful pattern!!! Is there a size 3 to 6 month hat pattern coming?
ReplyDeleteThank you, I am the CEO of the Breathe Foundation in South Africa and my NPO other then creating awareness on adults and children cancer, we also support the Kangaroo Premmie baby Unit at one of our 4 hospital in Cape Town and this little hat will now be knitted by myself along with all the other goodies that we collect for them and the mommies. Kind regards
ReplyDeleteDoes this pattern come in a 6-9 month size to match the cardigan please?
ReplyDeleteLove the pattern but why is there a singular slipped stitch at the beginning of every row? I haven't found a reason to need this and all it does it is pull the bottom of the hat further up. Unless I am missing something, which I might be, but I can't find any description as to why either. If there could be a clarification as to why that would be great!
ReplyDeleteI always slip the first stitch of every row. It is actually quite common and I find gives a better finish.
