I have had so much fun making these little Christmas Trees today ......
they would make cute decorations if you add a little hanging cord.
I think I will make a few Christmas cards by sticking one of these onto coloured cardboard. Who wouldn't love that?

Xmas Tree – Knit
Tree height ~ 4” (10cm)
I made these cute little trees using DK (8ply) yarn &
4mm needles
(but
smaller or larger trees can easily be made by changing the yarn thickness used)
Using
white or green yarn, cast on 2sts
Row 1 Kfb, k1
Row 2 K3
Row 3 Kfb, kfb, k1
Row 4 K5
Row 5 Kfb, k2, kfb, K1
Row 6 K7
Row 7 Kfb, k4, kfb, k1

ReplyDeleteI still remember the way we decorated real trees with ornaments and greeting cards. Its a different feeling and can't replace it with these artificial christmas trees. Nice article... +1
