ReplyDeletecould you please tell me how you are seaming these hats without having a bulky seam for the babies? thanks Linda
ReplyDeleteI presume this pattern is knitted in the rounds. It doesn't say in the pattern.
ReplyDeleteThanks Adele
Reply please. adelechatelain72@gmail.com
It is not knit in the round if it has purl rows. That would be all knitting.
DeleteI dont know if its a typo but you this pattern wont work with 57 st. Needs to be 58 st or you will end up with a mess you have to rip out. Ribbing only works with even numbers. Also if you are knitting in the round or using dpns you. Dont alternate k1row, p1row. Straight knitting in the round creates a stockinette pattern.

ReplyDeleteHi I am what I call a basic knitter and I could be wrong on this but shouldn't the preemie pattern have an even number of stitches in order to get a ribbed border?
ReplyDeleteJust started knitting again and chose baby hats to start with sooooo did you knit this hat on round needles or 4 needles or two?? Thank you
ReplyDeleteKell10 at bunnifer@gmail.com. Do you have baby preemie hat patterns with directions for using round needles or 4 needles? It's all new to me again.
These are knitted with 2 needles :)
