Here is my latest free pattern for you ~

a cosy neckwarmer

I really enjoyed making this - but I just can't decide which buttons to use !

Warm Tweedy Neckwarmer

Use 2 strands of DK yarn (8ply) knitted together ~ or any combination of yarns to make a total of 16ply .

I used 1 strand of DK plus 2 strands of 4ply This gives a nice ‘tweedy’ look

7 ½ mm needles

For a Woman -

Cast on 25sts

1^st Row: K1, *k3, p1, repeat from * to last 4sts, k4

2^nd Row: K2, *p1, k3 repeat from * last 3sts, p1, k2

Repeat these two pattern rows until around 30”, ending after completing a 1^st row

Cast off in pattern.

For a Teenager -

Cast on 21sts

1^st Row: K1, *k3, p1, repeat from * to last 4sts, k4

2^nd Row: K2, *p1, k3 repeat from * last 3sts, p1, k2

Repeat these two pattern rows until around 28”, ending after completing a 1^st row

Cast off in pattern.

For a Child -

Cast on 17sts

1^st Row: K1, *k3, p1, repeat from * to last 4sts, k4

2^nd Row: K2, *p1, k3 repeat from * last 3sts, p1, k2

Repeat these two pattern rows until around 26”, ending after completing a 1^st row

Cast off in pattern.

For all sizes - Darn away ends. Add 2 or 3 pretty buttons
