Isolation Compensation Bunting !

This weekend lots of members of my facebook group have been knitting ISOLATION COMPENSATION Bunting!

This was my latest Mystery Knit - no name, no description .... no-one knew what they were making. 
They just followed the instructions and hopefully had a good time! 

I hoped that a fun project would cheer us all up a little in these difficult times.
It is hard to be socially isolated! I miss my family so much! 

Thank goodness we have our crafting to help us through!

If you would like to make your own Bunting, here are the instructions ~ 

Isolation Compensation Bunting 

Requires:

Small amounts of DK yarn, in your choice of colours
4mm needles
A length of ribbon, twine or a simple crochet chain

Cast on 2 stitches
Row 1:  K2
Row 2:  K2
Row 3:  Kfb, k1                       (3)
Row 4:  K3
Row 5:  Kfb, kfb, k1                (5)
Row 6:  K2 p1, k2
Row 7:  Kfb, k2, kfb, k1          (7)
Row 8:  K2 p3, k2
Row 9:  Kfb, k4, kfb, k1           (9)
Row 10:  K2 p5, k2
Row 11:  Kfb k6, kfb k1          (11)
Row 12:  K2 p7, k2
Row 13:  Kfb k8, kfb, k1         (13)
Row 14:  K2 p9, k2
Row 15:  Kfb k10, kfb k1        (15)
Row 16:  K2 p11, k2
Row 17:  Knit
Row 18:  K2 p11, k2
Row 19:  Knit
Row 20:  Knit
Row 21:  K2, *yon, k2tog, repeat from * to last st, k1
Cast off
Make more 'flags' - then join them together by threading them onto a length of ribbon, twine or a simple crochet chain. 
Decorate as desired! These would be great for a Baby or Child's Room, 
an Easter or Christmas Decoration, or for a party, wedding or celebration! 



RAINBOW BUNTING 

If you would like to make Rainbow Bunting ~

then simply make your 'flags' in the colours of the rainbow



red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet 


Good and beautiful things often follow the darkest storms.

Or - for The Queen's Jubilee - why not make some in Red, White and Blue !!
