Cast off using a stretchy cast off - or cast off LOOSELY (if you find this difficult – use a larger size needle - perhaps a 4.5mm needle)
Cut off all the yarns

Fold the cast on edge in half and join seam to form the sole
Join the back seam – from the sole to the top of the cuff
Darn away ends
Fold down the cuff

Variation with a red cuff
As an alternative – you can make the cuff in Red.
Work exactly as above until Row 19 has been completed – then work Row 20 and each row onwards using Red yarn.

  1. Hi, lovely festive boots. Can I ask what stitch you use to sew up the sole?
