Requirements

DK (8ply) yarn ~ around 14g

4mm needles

 

Cast on 58sts

1^st Row         S1, knit to end

Repeat this row 5 times more

7^th Row         S1, knit to end

8^th Row         S1, purl to last st, k1                                              

9^th Row         S1, * k1, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, s1, k1, psso, k1, repeat from * to last st, k1

10^th Row       S1, purl to last st, k1

11^th Row       S1, *k2tog, yo, k3, yo, s1, k1, psso, repeat from * to last st, k1

12^th Row       S1, purl to last st, k1

Repeat last 6 rows three times more

31st Row      S1, knit to end

32^nd Row      K2tog, purl to last 2sts, k2tog                                  (56sts)

 

Shape Top ~

33^rd Row:     S1, * k4, k2tog, rep from * to last st, k1                 (47sts)

34^th Row       S1, purl to last st, k1

35^th Row:     S1, * k3, k2tog, rep from * to last st, k1                 (38sts)

36^th Row       S1, purl to last st, k1

37^th Row:     S1, * k2, k2tog, rep from * to last st, k1                 (29sts)

38^th Row       S1, purl to last st, k1

39^th Row:     S1, * k1, k2tog, rep from * to last st, k1                 (20sts)

40^th Row       S1, purl to last st, k1

41^st Row:     S1, * k2tog, rep from * to last st, k1                       (11sts)

Cut yarn, leaving a tail to use for sewing up the side seam.

Draw yarn through remaining 6sts.      Fasten off.              Sew seam.
