Just wanted to share two further sizes of my popular Bibi Baby Hat ~

DK (8ply) yarn ~ around 14g
4mm needles
 
Cast on 58sts
1st Row         S1, knit to end
Repeat this row 5 times more
7th Row         S1, knit to end
8th Row         S1, purl to last st, k1                                              
9th Row         S1, * k1, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, s1, k1, psso, k1, repeat from * to last st, k1
10th Row       S1, purl to last st, k1
11th Row       S1, *k2tog, yo, k3, yo, s1, k1, psso, repeat from * to last st, k1
12th Row       S1, purl to last st, k1
Repeat last 6 rows three times more
31st Row      S1, knit to end
32nd Row      K2tog, purl to last 2sts, k2tog                                  (56sts)

33rd Row:     S1, * k4, k2tog, rep from * to last st, k1                 (47sts)
34th Row       S1, purl to last st, k1

35th Row:     S1, * k3, k2tog, rep from * to last st, k1                 (38sts)
36th Row       S1, purl to last st, k1

37th Row:     S1, * k2, k2tog, rep from * to last st, k1                 (29sts)

  1. Hi Marianna, I have a query abouth the Baby Hugg Boots pattern. In the first row it says, K1, kfb, can you tell me what kfb is please. I looked at the abbreviations page and it wasn't on there. Would really appreciate it if you could get back to me soon please.

    1. It means you knit 1 stitch and then you knit into the front and back of the next stitch..thus making an increase..I love Marianna's patterns..

  2. Hi, I really love your blog and patterns and I really want to knit the Bibi Baby Hats ~ Newborn and 0 - 3 months. I have knitted it several times over, but as a complete beginner, I am obviously reading the pattern wrong as i am ending up with a ridiculous number of stitches. On the pattern lines reading yo, k3 or yarn over sl, k1, should i been knitting all 3 yo or just one ?
