  8. My 1st mittens & I made a few assumptions. S1 I assumed slip as if to purl (purl wise) & m1 I knitted in both front & back loop of same stitch.Thankyou!

  9. In row 9 Shape Top it says"1st Row: S1, s1, k1, psso, k9, k2tog, k2, s1, k1, psso, k9, k2tog, k1" the s1, s1, k1 is not the same as a SSK, correct? And do you pass both slipped stitches over the knit stitch or just 1?

  20. I am stuck on the part after you knit 11 and then turn. it says working on these 11st only, work another 5 rows. Do I just knit in the 11 st back and forth 5 rows or do I knit one row purl one row.

    1. knit 11 on the RS, then turn and knit 11 on the WS. A knit worked on the WrongSide is the same as a purl from the RightSide.

  21. I too am stuck on the Knit 11 and turn. Seems I should be knitting on the stitches between the increases, but how to get there from the Knit 11 turn.

  22. Ah. Previous row only purl 26 stitches in. Got it

  23. I finally figured it out but that one little part of the instructions is confusing and should have been explained for dummies. Ha ha

  24. Ive made three pair of these now. Very good project for me. Im a "very much part-time knitter dad" and this pattern turns out nicely, while providing some challenges along the way. Very nice pattern.

  25. How would I make these for a 1 year and 3 year old. I want to make them as Christmas gifts and don't want them to be too big or small. I don't see where it says a size.

  26. I was able to get someone to trace their hands. That gave me a good idea of width and length. IT worked!
