Angelita Baby Bolero Jacket

Hope you enjoy my latest design - a simple but sweet sleeveless baby bolero jacket.

Four sizes at present ~ Newborn, large preemie, medium preemie & small preemie ~ but more sizes to follow soon.
Also ~  I am working on a version with long sleeves .........

This design was inspired by a garter stitch baby jacket by the very talented

Theresa Roberts.

I loved her cute little baby jacket and wanted to write a stocking stitch version in a range of sizes. I hope I did it justice.

  6. Such a darling sweater! I have a grand daughter on the way, and I'd love to make this for her, but I don't see a needle size suggested. What size needle do I need to get my gauge for this pattern?

    1. I would guess a US size 5 or 6 needle, given the weight of the yarn, but I'd really like to know for certain what the designer used. Thanks!

  16. Hello Marianna,
You have the cutest designs and they are so easy...thank you! I have a question--my friend's little girl just got an American Girl doll and I think your patterns would be terrific---should I use the newborn sizes? I will try to figure this out, but I thought if you knew already you would save me some time. Again, I thank you for sharing these patterns!
